# How to Create a Campaign

> Creating a campaign takes two steps — name it and pick a game — then Zestify opens the campaign's General, Game, and Rewards tabs so you can finish configuring it.

## **Step 1: Open the Create Campaign Modal**

From the **Campaigns** page, click **Create campaign** — either from the empty state or from the button at the top of the page. This opens the **Create a new campaign** modal.

## **Step 2: Name Your Campaign and Choose a Game**

**Campaign name** — enter a name for your campaign (for example, "Summer spin"). Names are limited to 50 characters.

**Game** — choose the game your visitors will play:

* **Spin to Win** — a spinning prize wheel

* **Pop to Reveal** — a grid of poppable bubbles

Click **Create campaign** in the modal to confirm.

<Tip>
  You can change the game type later from the campaign's **General** tab, so this choice isn't final.
</Tip>

## **What Happens Next**

Zestify creates the campaign in **draft** status and takes you to its detail page. From here you'll see:

* An **Activate campaign** button at the top

* Three tabs: **General**, **Game**, and **Rewards**

Configure each tab before activating:

* [General Tab](/campaigns/general-tab) — campaign name, game type, and when to ask for email

* [Game Tab](/campaigns/game-tab) — when and where the popup appears, and how often visitors can play

* [Rewards Tab](/campaigns/rewards-tab) — the prizes visitors can win and their odds

Once everything is configured, click **Activate campaign** to make it live on your storefront.

<Note>
  Make sure the [widget/app embed is enabled](/getting-started/how-to-enable-the-widget) in your Shopify theme — otherwise an activated campaign still won't appear on your storefront.
