Everything is set up and managed from inside Shopify admin. Zestify is a Shopify app built for store owners who want to turn storefront visitors into engaged customers through gamification. Instead of a plain email popup, Zestify lets you launch a gamified campaign — a game your visitors can play for a chance to win a prize — and capture their email address in the process. Campaigns run as a widget on your live storefront. Visitors play the game, enter their email to participate, and can win a reward that they redeem at checkout. ## **Who Is Zestify For?** Zestify is designed for: * **Store owners** who want to grow their email list with a more engaging alternative to a standard popup * **Marketers** running promotions who want a fun, on-brand way to reward visitors and drive redemptions * **Growing stores** that want to track how campaigns perform — views, plays, contacts, and redemptions — without extra tooling No coding knowledge is required. Campaigns are created, configured, and activated entirely from the Zestify dashboard inside Shopify admin. ## **How Zestify Is Organized** The Zestify dashboard is organized into a few key sections, all available from the left sidebar under the app: ### **Campaigns** Campaigns are the gamified games you create and run on your storefront. Each campaign has a game type, a schedule, and placement rules for when and where it appears. You create, configure, save, and activate campaigns from this section. ### **Rewards** Rewards are the prizes visitors can win by playing a campaign — for example, a discount they redeem at checkout. You manage what prizes are available and how they're distributed here. ### **Appearance** Appearance controls how the campaign widget looks on your storefront — its styling and branding — so it matches your store's look and feel. ### **Analytics** Analytics gives you a performance overview of your campaigns, including views, plays, contacts captured, and redemptions, so you can see how your campaigns are performing at a glance. ### **Contacts** Contacts stores the emails captured from your campaigns, so you can see and manage everyone who has played and opted in. ### **Settings** Settings covers general configuration for how Zestify runs on your store. ### **Pricing** Pricing is where you view your current plan and usage, and upgrade for more monthly plays, advanced analytics, and more active campaigns. ## **Plans at a Glance** Zestify includes a **Free plan** with a monthly allotment of included plays. Once your included plays are used up for the billing cycle, your game pauses until the next cycle resets. Upgrading unlocks more monthly plays, advanced analytics, and more active campaigns at once. See [Plans and Pricing](/getting-started/plans-and-pricing) for more detail. ## **How the App Works Inside Shopify** Zestify lives entirely inside your Shopify admin — there is no separate account, dashboard, or login to manage. You access it through the Apps section of your Shopify admin, just like any other Shopify app. Once installed, your campaign runs as a widget on your live storefront through Shopify's App Embed system. Your store visitors interact with the widget directly on your storefront — playing the game, entering their email, and potentially winning a reward. Before any campaign will appear on your storefront, the Zestify app embed must be enabled in your Shopify Theme Editor.
